A mother in North Carolina says that Apple’s Find My Friends application helped locate her daughter after she missed her curfew. Find My Friends led Catrina Alexander to her daughter Macy Smith, who had hydroplaned off the road was stranded under her car.

One YouTuber has also discovered that this makes it incredibly easy to manage a Kindle with iOS 13 and iPadOS 13.

Apple continues to move away from the iTunes brand this week. Now, when you view an iOS or Mac app listing on the web, the URL is based on apps.apple.com, whereas it was previously itunes.apple.com.

PBS CEO warns App Store crackdown on content for kids forcing it to pull apps

As part of its WWDC announcements last week, Apple tightened guidelines around privacy in kids’ apps in the App Store. Speaking at the Recode Code Conference yesterday, PBS president and CEO Paula Kerger said that these new guidelines from Apple mean that it will have to remove several of its apps from the App Store.
