OnLive's game service is already available for Android devices, but there's an iOS version in the works. Here's a hands on demo with the beta client on an iPad, along with the OnLive wireless controller, which I think brings a much better experience than the touchscreen.
16 predictions for mobile in 2012
As expected, the past year was an exciting one for mobile tech. I did reasonably well on my 2011 predictions, but now it's time to power up the crystal ball and gaze at what 2012 will bring. Here are my 16 predictions for the new year.
Free Android, iOS app wakes you earlier when it snows
Just in time for the northern hemisphere's winter season: An alarm clock application that automatically wakes you earlier in case of frost or snow. Winter Wake-Up is freely available for both Apple iOS and Google Android devices and smartly adjusts your alarm based on weather.

Jawbone’s $99 Up is ready to boost your health
The latest health monitor hitting the market comes from Jawbone, a company that's made its name by designing wireless headsets for phones. Called the Jawbone Up, the wrist-worn device launches on Nov. 6 for $99; it measures activity, sleep and nutrition through a complementary iPhone app.
Return to sender: Google pulls new iOS Gmail app
Google released a native Gmail client for iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices, but quickly pulled the software from the iTunes App Store due to some app errors. As a long-time Android user, I like what I see in the client, but it needs work.
